It’s the time of year that all of South Florida is waiting for: the Fall Pet-friendly Water Events.
Waterparks end their summer season and welcome Fall with a big event for dogs. Bring your friends, family, and your four-legged pals for a day you won’t want to miss. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, towels, and plenty of energy for all the tail-wagging fun!
But waterparks are not the only fun this season, there is much more. Find all the dates and locations of all the Events below

10/05:
Waggin’ at the Waterpark 2024

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on 10/5/2024 and will re-open 30 minutes before each session. All owners must sign a waiver when registering.
50-minute sessions by size of dog
Session 1: 10:00-10:50 a.m., dogs 45 lbs. and up
Session 2: 11:00-11:50 a.m., dogs less than 45 lbs.
Session 3: 12:00-12:50 p.m., dogs 45 lbs. and up
MGMC will be coming to session 1 at 10 am. Then we will take a break from 11 am to 12 pm in the park next to the water park entrance. You can bring some food to share while the pups rest. At 12 pm, we will be entering again for session 3. Tickets entrance must be purchased before every session. You can choose to come to both or just one session
To enter the waterpark, all dogs must have proof of current rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella vaccinations on site. All dogs must wear collars and licenses in the pool area. BARKTOBERFEST

3.Quiet Waters Park
Fees: $6.50/dog per 50-minute session or $5/dog for current dog park pass holders. The park’s regular weekend gate fee of $3/vehicle (with 8 or fewer passengers) will be in effect.

Barktoberfest! This year’s activities include 50-minute splash time sessions, doggie marketplace, adoptions, and rescue and nonprofit group displays. Water park sessions begin on the hour and all dogs are limited to two sessions per day. The first session of the day, from 8-8:50AM, will be for small dogs only. All sizes of dogs can jump in for the remainder of the splash time — 9AM-3:50PM.
You’ll need to accompany your pooch but you won’t be allowed in the water. Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination with documentation showing the expiration date or administered dates, and a County license tag. Dogs must be sociable and well behaved. All dogs must be off-leash when inside the playground. This event is co-sponsored by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Paws in the pool – Venetial Pool
Humans are allowed to swim with the dogs
(unfortunately, this event is already sold out)
Session I: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Small dogs only (0 through 30 lbs. dogs
Session II: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 pm Large dogs only ( 30+ lbs. dogs)
Admission Fees: $7.50 per dog $5.50 per human (Admission only granted to those accompanied by a dog)
Admission Requirements:
Failure to abide by these rules may result in denied access or removal without a refund or rain-check for paid tickets.
Admission is only granted to those accompanied by a dog.
Proof of current rabies vaccination is required and will be checked prior to entry.
Any dog showing signs of aggression will be asked to leave.
200 dog maximum per session will be strictly enforced.
*Children under three years of age will not be admitted into the facility.
When your dog is not swimming they must remain leashed.
You are required to clean up after your dog. Please take your dog on frequent potty breaks.
If your dog is not a strong swimmer please remain in the kiddie pool or enter the pool with your dog.
There are steps located in the 5 ft. section of the pool behind the small falls for your dogs to use.
If your dog shows signs of aggression they will be asked to leave.
Please be aware that if you decide to enter the pool with your dog you do so at your own health risk!

K9 Water Festival

The K9 Water Festivals returns to T.Y. Park’s Castaway Island on weekends October 12 and 13 and 19 and 20, 2024, from 9AM to 5PM. The fee is $5/dog per 50-minute splash session. There will be a designated small-dog area (25 pounds and under) for all sessions.
MGMC will be comin to this park on 10/19 from 10 am to 12 pm. Tickest can be purcharse at the door
There are some rules we need to follow at the events:
- All dogs must be off leash when inside the playgrounds
- Dogs must be sociable and well behaved
- Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination and a County licensee tag
- Water playgrounds will be closed to humans and open only for dogs (and lifeguards)
- All dogs are limited to two sessions per day
- Sessions will begin on the hour

7th Annual Jupiter Golden Jubilee 2024

As every year we will be supporting the Annual Jupiter Golden Jubilee
Enjoy a weekend of sun and surf with friends, family, and golden retrievers in Jupiter, Florida. This event brings awareness to the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study and Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida.
11/01 Friday evening attendees can meet at the Amphitheater at Harbourside Place. Meet at 5:00 for a Parade where goldens can reunite and make new friends around Harbourside Place and stay for dinner at one of the many pet-friendly restaurants.
11/02 Saturday morning, enjoy a romp at the beach from 10:00-12:00 at Jupiter Dog Beach Marker #27. Watch dozens of goldens play and swim! The First 125 registered dogs will receive a goody bag full of treats and more when you sign in at the beach. Registration and donations are highly recomended
MGMC will be coming to the beach day. Please be sure to be at the beach early to enjoy the entire event. Come preparedwith enough water and food for you and your pup if you are coming only on Saturday, We will staying till 5 pm for the evening dinner.
