Lately the amount of goldens that need, due to different situations, to be rehomed has been increasing. And even though we are not a rescue but a club, we want to help those golden retriever in need.

We are dedicated to finding the best possible home for your pup. In order to find the best matching family we need to gather some information about your pup. Please answer the following questions honestly and to the best of your ability. We do not allow any trade, sale, or exchange for the dog that you may be rehoming. Also, we do not charge any fee. If you consider taking our help for rehoming,  is at a free cost. You are not allowed to ask for any money through any of the adopters that come from MGMC.
If you are a breeder, we DO NOT SELL DOGS, so if any breeder needs rehoming puppies through MGMC will be at no cost to the adopter.
But before you fill out the application please know that we work in 3 different ways to rehome the goldens.

Option 1. We gather all the info about the golden in this form and have a phone interview with the owner to discuss the information provided. Also, we will request all medical records and behavior that the owner may have of their dog. Then we post on our social media and Website. We interview the families that could be interested and choose the most fit for the dog. After that, we will have a meet and greet with the family, and after signing the owner transfer form, and the transfer of the microchip to the new owner (if applicable), the adoption will be complete. MGMC will keep following the dog adoption process and will keep in contact with the new family. The former owner can have contact with the dog ONLY if the new family decides so.

Option 2.  We gather all the info about the golden in this form and have a phone interview with the owner to discuss the information provided. Also, we will request all medical records and behavior that the owner may have of their dog. Then we post on our social media and Website. In this option, we can forward the adopter information to the owner and he will choose what family he thinks is a better fit for their dog. The rehoming family will need to sign a transfer of ownership to the adopter family and in the case that the dog is microchipped will need to change it to the new owner’s name.  MGMC will keep following the dog adaption process and will keep in contact with the new family. After that former owner can have contact with the dog ONLY if the new family decides so.

Option 3. Surrendering your dog. If you need to surrender your dog immediately, please contact us at [email protected] . Also if it is a 911 surrender there are some rescues that you can reach out. check them listed below.
